Refer to your router manual or the router mftr.'s website for default settings if you don't have a Linksys. Have a computer connected to the router with an ethernet cable. So set up your wireless router securely and then set up your LAN sharing as detailed in my last reply. Aside from giving you Internet access, the wireless router creates a Local Area Network so you can share files/folders. That's what your wireless network *does*. I'm sorry but I don't understand why you wouldn't use the normal LAN sharing to get the files on the PC.
